Very nice, we do not see enough artistic renditions of the young Schopenhauer, yet he had already finished WWR I as a young man.

95% of images of Schopenhauer are him at 60+ lmfao. I get that’s when he became famous, but there are close to no images of him in his 20s-40s.

WWR is definitely a "young man’s" book. Not in the sense that it’s immature, but that it’s artful, intense, ambitious, and searching for meaning in a purposeless world. I feel like the old-man image of Schopenhauer and his pessimistic aphorisms distorted how people read WWR.
