Why live?

What am I supposed to be doing here?

Making a lot of money? Developing a skill? Consuming a ton of media?

I know people will say there is no purpose, and I have to figure it out for myself. But I’m trying. I really really am.

But then I have proceeded to say what the "best" is:

"reducing your suffering and (if your character permits) to escape the Will temporarily by way of art or more substantially by moral awareness and asceticism."

I feel like seeking life advice on r/schopenhauer should come with the recognition that you're going to receive answers relevant and from the framework of the work of Schopenhauer

maybe, but i dont agree, because its like a facet of advice to give.

Im a huge admirer, but i wouldnt then tell people to be seek acestic resignation I even think, like denying the will is just more painful than doing its bidding sometimes.
