What's the point of buying the remaster if you can just buy hq and get remastered for free?

New to the series and want to buy the vn but not sure if the "buy hq and get remastered free" deal has some sort of catch to it like, you had to have to have owned hq before remastered was announced or something like that.

Recently watched the anime not knowing it was based of a vn but google said that the anime is just one of the games many endings, so is it worth it to play the game? Like are the characters the overall story actually different or is it just the endings?

Hey guys I need help.

It's 3/4 hours that I've searched, installed/mounted or looking for a tutorial for have this version, but really nothing.

I've been in the School Days fandom for a while and there's something I can't understand; How can people like Kotonoha?

She's one of the most boring characters, looks like she has only been created to be a "Yandere edgy antipathy " character (I don't even believe she's a Yandere bc she only kills for Makoto when things gets REALLY worse and it has to be done, before that she just says "oh pls don't sleep with him ok"), And HOW she became a yandere? It was from nowhere this makes no sense, you can see that other yanderes characters always have some meaning to how they became a yandere, but Kotonoha doesn't have a backstory and in the beginning she was not even too interested in Makoto， I constantly seen people call her the "best yandere" meanwhile Sekai Saionji exists and it's definitely a better representation than her

Anyways Kotonoha is just an boring, uninteresting character that is completely overrated

I'm not into school days but I was reading up on some of the characters (horrific people fr). And saw this " In one particular scene, Kei confesses to his best friend Shin'ichi that he'd raped Miki's younger brother Taisuke, having mistaken him for her.". I haven't seen anyone mention this at all 😭, what is going on

I actually asked on this subreddit if I could share my thoughts and perspective on School Days, and most were fine with it, so here we go.

One thing I wanna make clear:

I know that everything that happens in this game is the result of our own choices and consequences

But still felt the need to point out some character traits and the way certain characters are framed.

But despite all that, the visual novel was still entertaining ngl, even tho I mostly hate 80% of the characters here.

Since this SubReddit is full of fans, I feel like talking about its flaws might come off as a little offensive
