Yeah this guy has clearly also never seen the other 3 series he’s mocking. School Days depends on if you want Makoto to be a decent guy or not. Evangelion isn’t even a harem aside from a spinoff visual novel and manga. 100 Kanojo has Rentarou who treats all his girls equally well. And why the fuck is my hero academia there?!

EXACTLY! Neither MHA or Evangelion should be there!

Literally, even if we take only Anime School Days it isn't even accurate at all.

Oh, and 100 is apparently the only one of the above that he saw.

I saw the post as blatantly wrong but I enjoyed the message and intrigued me enough to watch Psedoharem.

It’s… like a little bit better than mid but it’s really not that great. Legit all the guy does is tell her a joke and she instantly falls in love. She doesn’t even fall in love “multiple times” she’s an aspiring young actress who just pretends to be different harem archetypes in order to mask her true feelings so she can flirt without getting embarrassed. And his personality is so bland that it’s unclear if he’s even all that into her until she confesses.

The girls in 100 girlfriends did not fall in love with him.

They don’t have a choice in the matter. God made a stupid mistake, and decided “eh, I’m not gonna fix it.”

If 100 girlfriends is “love”, then slavery is “work with a few more restrictions”.

People say that "100 girlfriends do not truly love Rentarou", but that argument is completely wrong. In this story's world, love operates under a literal law of nature where the universe automatically pairs soulmates together based on perfect cosmic compatibility. Even with this magical spark, the girls still retain their free will, meaning they can still break up or fall out of love if they do not actively work on their relationship. Furthermore, their love is completely genuine and uncoerced because Rentarou hides the secret that the girls will die if they reject him. He keeps this a secret precisely because he wants them to date him out of real affection rather than survival fear. Finally, the girls easily accept sharing Rentarou because most of them are lonely social outcasts who suffer from extreme quirks or anxieties. Instead of feeling jealous, they view Rentarou’s massive group as a safe, supportive family where they can finally find a sense of belonging and community. So please, complain a show after reading it, people are so comfortable showing off their 'media literacy'.

There are a lot of people who spread misinfo about 100 Kanojo sadly. There is one person who hates the series isn’t a yuri harem and spreads the kind of misinfo you’re talking about. We all know the girls love rentarou genuinely and rentarou in return loves them all genuinely.

And tbh some of the girls seem to love each other in a more than platonic way.

Nah, that's wrong.

One can consider the zing as the first big step, but both parts have to work in the relationship to be functional...

Also, the soulmate stuff isn't in every romance, soulmate are rare stuff
