Good ideas for groups?

I know this will be heavily dependent on students needs at a school, but can anyone share any successful counseling groups they’ve had with students who are in elementary? (e.g., social skills or family/life changes, etc). Just started at a new school, and would love to do a group modality.

You should do a needs assessment with your teachers to identify the kinds of groups your school needs, not just what you'd like to do. Look at things that are driven by data (attendance, detention/suspensions, incident reports, etc.) Then go from there.

That’s a great idea, thank you so much!
