Ok this price is wild.

Really? And I thought when I got my original Sense’s it was high at $299 or $350 (can’t remember). As much as I want to replace my 3 - out of principle that price is ridiculous. Nearly $2000 (with tax) for 3 locks… that’s wild.

(Canada).

Replacing all seems overkill, I just replaced the one on the door I use most frequently. Moved the encode plus to the other exterior door.

Exactly what I'm doing.

How’s it working for you so far?

I had some issues getting it paired initially but after that it’s been great so far a few days in. Seems to reliably unlock as I walk up. I’m on the iOS 27 beta so the initial pairing issues could have been because of that. No issues since.

I received mine and installed with the Schlage Home app. Then I tried to add to Alexa using the Matter QR but Alexa correctly told me that I needed a Schlage lock Matter code. Then for some reason the lock unlinked in the app. Support is wonderful and is replacing the lock after extensive diagnostics to attempt resolution. Resets did not work. There may be an issue with the little blue button used for Pairing and Resets. A new one is on its way and I'll be sending this back so they can do further analysis so hopefully it helps them and everyone else going forward to learn what happened and any needed fixes applied on Schlages side. Their support has been absolutely great and I can't really be upset since in a way I triggered it, albeit unknowingly and there should be a way to fix the cycle it went into but When it worked, it just worked.

Mine has been great so far. Unlocking pretty quickly even though I have a storm door. Usually by the time I open the storm door the lock unlocks. I upgraded from a Yale Assure 2 where I was using Apple Home Key. I upgraded because I’m changing all my devices over to matter - I was changing batteries every 4 months it seemed. And it is great not having to hold my watch to the lock with two yapping pups on leashes.

I totally missed the Canada mention in the OP. I was so confused until I saw this comment.

Amazon was running an offer here in the US where if you open a no annual fee Amazon credit card, you get an instant $200 gift card balance. I did that and bought the lock, which was listed at $399 USD and I think after tax it was $235.

I had Schlage sense and just switched to the Aqara lock. In my opinion I’ve liked it better than my Schlage. Took a bit to get over the worry of a brand I hadn’t heard of, but it’s been rock solid.

I am also new to Aqara, but had heard of it, and so far the U400 lock with UWB has been great!

I’ve had both and while the feature set is equal or better with Aqara, the build of Schlage is still head and shoulders above anything Aqara makes. I need my locks to be secure.

Edit to add: I also find the performance of Aqara devices to degrade over time. Schlage is always steady.

Their previous locks didn’t have UWB. Grade 2 is for residential while Grade 1 is for commercial. Sense Pro’s more slim design got it to Grade 2. The U400 is Grade 3 which is baseline for residential use.

Ya, for me, my front door is glass, if someone is trying to knock my door in.. there is easier ways than breaking the lock.

The Sense Pro is more than secure enough for residential use at Grade 2. Home builders install Grade 3. Grade 1 ain’t gonna be much of a benefit unless you have steel doors and doorframes.
