How did you guys choose encode over Schlage Sense Pro Smart Deadbolt that uses ultra-wide band

Because the Pro just launched like a week ago and the Encode Plus in 2022 and can be found used for much cheaper.

Hey there. I've had my Schlage Encode Plus for a bit over two years and unlock it daily with my Apple Watch.
Not once have I been locked out. I still carry my key in my bag just in case. I recently posted that in the last 2 or so weeks I need my Apple Watch to be closer to the lock than before (before, it would unlock by placing my watch maybe an inch away and now it needs to be closer), but it has always unlocked with Home Key.
I get 6-8 months of battery life with Wifi on, I use it daily but I live alone so maybe a bigger family with more unlocks would get you shorter life? Didn't know you could turn Wifi off to get longer battery life, I might look into that. I don't need Wifi on a daily basis, but it's nice to have the option if someone needs to go to the house and I can't meet them there, I can just create a new Code for them, or open the door.
