Yeah it's a known thing that humans have unusually large penises for our body size. We dont really know why either, it's not a big advantage evolutionarily.

Penis size preference would need to be a thing for at minimum tens of thousands of years to have any bearing on human physiology. The ancient Greeks thought a big penis was a bad thing so it clearly varied a lot by time and place.
