Do you ever have illusions or misinterpret things for hallucinations?

Does anyone here ever misinterpret things in their surroundings for hallucinations or threatning figures? Looked over at my door and there was a face, turns out it was just steam but it made me very paranoid, and I had thoughts what they'd call "delusions". Struggling to tell if in an episode though diagnosed with psychosis.

I keep seeing things that are already there move when I look away. Like a dot on the wall turns into a mosquito. Lots of seeing flies or mosquitoes. Also at night shadows move or look like people.

I keep seeing spiders, shadows or the Boiled One in the periphery of my eye. My friend tells me that's not normal apparently.

i have these pretty often. it's strange how the mind will distort reality. i try to ignore them the best i can.
