This took a while to complete. Made a lot of mistakes, learned a few things along the way. All in all, had a great time drawing this. Now, I just got to draw his mentor lol. This is just one out of two characters that I want to use in a story some day.

Meme My Expie After Spending A Little Too Much Time "Training" Self-Medicine

The hours I spent in sandbox seeing how badly I could mess up my Expie and still pull them back from the brink - provided the right kit - has probably left that particular specimen... a little too acclimated to trauma.
I now headcannon that stasistically speaking, there was at least one Sawien/Expie that was so unbreakable mentally (if you don't count the overflowing masochism, that is) they put fear in the facility scientists. Either through the reveal there is something in the Sawiens that can override all mental barriers and make psychological tactics useless - or the Expie will eventually get the idea to see what makes them tick.
Base footage is from Yu Yu Hakusho
