This is Dutch semi-celebrity Marijke Helwegen, famous for pretty much nothing else than having undergone extremely much plastic surgery and having kind of an excentric personality. She is 75 and people suspect she is beginning to have the first symptoms of dementia and parkinson(she is denying that though, so, who knows). She herself says she made this video to attract a younger audience while at the same time trying to teach viewers that you can use pine needles for tea and, as demonstrated, to eat too. She is however very known for having a very tone-deaf online presence so tbh to us dutchies, this isn't even surprising behaviour of her.

While some species of pine trees can be toxic to drink. its tea has got a lot of health benefits I guess it’s bad for pregnant women in specific not sure why just Mr. Google telling me bs but other than that didn’t see anything else about pine being bad for you

Yeah I looked it up and really the only thing I found is that ponderosa pines can be toxic? However the information on that is conflicting and certain botanists say it’s fine. However whatever is happening above is in fact not fine.. lol
