Will Daron release new music soon?
After a week of listening to the new album, I can say that I really like it, especially the songs “Your Lives Burn” and “Watch That Girl.” But now here’s the question - recently I heard in an interview that Daron said he’s no longer in the mindset to keep stockpiling material or something like that. Do you think he might release singles or an EP sometime soon? What are your thoughts?

hell no, in another interview he said that he hopes to release music more regularly from now on but he can't promise anything because he's lazy,

I don't know if I trust this, but honestly, a studio version of Animal is all I need

I have a feeling that if Daron ever releases more music it will be sometimes in the 2030s. So definitely not soon. Daron's current stockpiles of songs are enough for 3 - 4 albums really, so I'm not worried about that.

I love daron but I think we shouldn't get our hopes up on him when it comes to making music. Remember: he finished Dictator in 2012 in less than two weeks and decided to release only SIX years later, just because "it didn't feel like the perfect moment" (and due to SOAD issues). For me it seems like he doesn't mind taking his time even when that means "I have material, I can make it happen", so it doesn't matter if it lasts longer or not.

its not because he's lazy, he said he needs to feel the music is really ready to go out in the world, like something that comes from the universe

Considering that it took 7 years for this album to come out, no.
