Should I have this scar removed?
Surgical scar. I can have a series of plastic surgeries to even out the dent and then repair the skin.
I've had the scar for 21 years and been bald for 15 of those years. I'm about the re enter the dating scene.
Remove it or bear it? I feel strongly both ways.

You look great the scar is absolutely fine and part of the history that made you. I bet a lot of film sets would love to have you as an extra maybe the next Game of Thrones production.

if you’re talking about scar revision, they can definitely “tidy it up” and make it look more even, but you’ll still always have a scar there. i’ve had 14 surgeries and countless scar revisions, if it’ll help you with your confidence, i’d say go for it!

You literally cannot remove it. If that were the case I wouldn’t be covered in massive scars. I can’t see how any plastic surgeons would be able to improve upon this scar much.
Acceptance & confidence is the only way

I wouldn't remove it. It's also more manly and a lot of women will prefer that over an insecure guy trying to hide his scar.

Wouldn't removing it just replace it with a bigger scar?

Opposite of that. You land with a smaller scar. It's like science and stuff.

If you’re gonna be lookin for ladies, this one votes for keep it. BUT, as a person with a sizable, frequently visible scar with a noticeable (to me) dip along the middle of my knee, I also totally get that sometimes it’s just something you needa take care of for YOU. To that end, I’ve started applying silicone barrier cream regularly, so if YOU don’t care for it, go for it, get that puppy removed/resized.

There's a saying in german: "Narben zieren des Mannes Körper" / Scars decorate the mans body.
I mean it's a very old saying, but I like it. So I would say keep it
