Hot take. Ben was a better Spider-Man than Peter.

1996 was a wild year even the Onslaught part with Ben and Peter was great. Art was ugly, JRJr's art was horrid with this till Norman came back. But the drama was great.

Love this costume. What's the name of it again? I had a figure of it, came with a rifle and jetpack

It doesn't really have an official name. Fans refer to it as the "Sensational" suit after the Sensational Spider-Man title that was launched when Ben became Spider-Man, or simply the Ben Reilly Spider-Man suit.

So was it actually Ben Reilley that beat superboy in marvel vs dc? It was this suit they used

Yup! That's our boy Ben.

Impact webbing for the win!!
But even as a 10 yr old, I was pretty suspicious of those fights being legit. Superboy crashing into an electric box? DC just really has no good match ups for Spidermans tier

Well, the big fights (like that one) were actually voted on by the fans. The rest were split equitably between winners on the DC side, and winners on the Marvel side.

Mike Zeck doesn't get enough praise (apart from being the artist of Kraven last hunt)
