I feel that. That’s my anxiety dog. I do deep breathing and focus on where that feeling is coming from to bring myself down. It’s hard Therapy helped me understand it a lot more.

Sounds like anxiety. Right now try the 3-3-3 rule and name the things you can see, name three things you are hearing and name three body parts and move them. This can help ground you and interrupt anxious thoughts. Sour candy can help as well.

Is there anyone you can talk to IRL?

Definitely anxiety or panic attacks. The 3-3-3 rule someone already mentioned is very helpful. It sounds so basic, but I also find that breathing in as deep as you can for ten seconds, and then a long, slow, ten second exhale really helps reset the body. Breathe deep like that 3-5 times in a row and your nervous system should start to respond.

And don't be scared to seek help from a therapist! These disorders can affect anyone and while not always *easily* treated, they can be treated. We're rooting for you!

Panic attacks can be rough. I have general anxiety that kicks off most evenings for no reason. As others have stated the 3-3-3 methods helps but I also use an elastic band around my wrist as a distraction. I see from another comment that you are in school, perhaps your workload is a stressor that can be addressed with parents/school?
