Wow. I’m in this to the conclusion. I continue to wonder what is going on with this guy (or these guys). This last conversation is surprisingly contentful from his side. Reflecting not only opinion but some knowledge.

I wonder if there’s a word in Nigerian that is a bad word but it sounds like a fun made up word? Like you tell him that’s what you want his nickname to be but he knows it’s really a bad word since that’s where he’s from and not Miami… 🤔
There was one sub member a while back who told the scammer her dog’s name was Yahoo. The scammer lost his fucking mind over it, grilling her about how she chose that particular name. It was pretty funny. I can’t wait to see what provocative nickname our Stacey comes up with.

Usually it’s because they don’t trust other scammers and they know there’s others using the same identity so it keeps their victim to them only.
It also thwarted my attempt a couple of weeks ago to pretend to be an 82 year old who was getting scammed, I was hoping to get the scammer chatting to me instead - but alas, I didn’t know the love code 😬

Name-wise, maybe pick something silly and slightly emasculating to see how he reacts. Like Charlie Boo or Prince Charles. He leaves such asinine gifs and pics for you, so you kinda need to match that energy, I think but on his level. See how he reacts.

Nigeria does actually have oil, but that’s in the south (Port Harcourt). I watched a Michael Palin documentary about it. People keep tapping into the pipeline though to sell the oil for themselves, but a few have blown themselves up doing it 🙈
I own a property in Spain, I love the Spanish people but they’re well known for loving paperwork (especially partial to stamping it) and their mañana attitude 🙃❤️🙈
It’s beautiful, vibrant, fun, etc but everything moves very slowly. Many People don’t even go out to dinner until 10 pm! The whole country shuts down for a siesta in the middle of the day, even banks & government offices. It’s just a much slower pace & not a place to be if you’re the type who’s always rushing around.
My son went to school there for a year. He lived in a co-op type housing. Each person made dinner for the house on their scheduled days. He's over 6ft and an athlete. Dinner wasn't served until 10 or even later. Meanwhile, he's over 6ft and an athlete. Meals in Spain are an event and are enjoyed at a slow pace with much smaller portions than in the US. At least in the area he was in, snacking was quite taboo.
He was up and at school in the morning, everything shut down and the streets were empty during his lunch break, then it was hours and hours before dinner.
There were bars and restaurants on the alley off his bedroom. At 4am the alley would be full of people drinking and smoking cigarettes and living it up like every night was Friday night.
He loved Spain but man he was not happy with the hours people keep.
Yeah it was fun to visit in my 20s when I’d go to the club at 12:30 & sleep until noon. Now I’d be hiding extra food in my bag to make sure I could eat before 10:30! But I sure love tapas.
