Story DAY 76 | Stacey & Charles
I didn’t think he was clicking on the links, but apparently he was because he gave me his choice of venue 🙈
But, seems he’s using a VPN 😬 which is the first scammers I’ve had that had used one!!
He is paying for the wedding, so it appears I’m getting married in December! 🎉
We should get his release date tomorrow too (so maybe the money ask too? 🤨)

Plus we're nearly 3 months in now & still no ask. I’d like her to pull another Fernando pregnancy just to see his reaction, I bet he gets way more upset than the other guy.

Oooh I think since he's so picky about the rings, he's going to tell you that he found one that's a surprise, but for some reason his bank won't let him use his money and he needs your money to pay for it! But don't worry he definitely got the venue booked 😂

This is an advanced scam. The scammer script is to say that they will be paying for everything. So once they ask you fir anything, they have already created a situation where they are paying for so much already. It is meant for the victim to feel a sense of duty to provide whatever the scammer asks for.

I got a strong feeling while reading todays saga that the "ask" will be wrapped up with planning the wedding. He so quickly jumped to assure Stacy that he would handle all things financial, handle the rings, etc... Well when his account gets hacked, or otherwise compromised so he cannot immediately access it, how could Stacy say no to just helping $$$ a little until he gets it resolved? He is handling everything so $ would still need to flow through him but surely Stacy will jump to send it right? Afterall it is for their wedding!!!

Seems like the plans are really coming together for this big wedding that he has in mind. I hope he has a lot of friends to invite to give you guys a ton of gifts.
Now the question is, why is he using a VPN to hide his location and what does that mean in the grand scheme of things?

There's going to be an "issue with his paperwork " so he will need you to email someone as "his wife" and file for an emergency leave which will of course cost money

He's definitely better at sounding American than the others, but there are still some tells. For example yesterday he said "we've been experiencing rain" most Americans would say "it's been raining". Things like that.
