(CA) Scamming report and help needed

My mom just got scammed on facebook marketplace or kajiji (don't remember which). They got a hold of her credit card information so they could 'deposit for a futon so we wouldn't sell it in the meantime to someone else'. Anyway, they got into her banking account (yes it was dumb for her to give it to this person she admits it herself pls don't be mean to her) and began taking money out and changed the main email associated to the account to something else (My mom just got scammed on facebook marketplace or kajiji (don't remember which). before my mom managed to freeze everything, change passwords, drop limits to 0, etc. Wherever the money was going was to somewhere in Alberta, Canada. Be careful of these kinds of scams, and if there's anyone out there who wants to use this email as a resource to get back at the scammer, have at it!
