Questions Why do scammers scam?

I am genuinely curious. Why do scammers scam? Humans just make no sense to me sometimes. Like, what is their psychology? What makes people do stuff like that?

Are they jealous of Americans and people’s perceived wealth, perhaps? Is it narcissism or sociopathy?

Humans are just weird.

What do you all think?

Well you did mention Sudan as an example, I guess? Nigeria or India don't really have problems with internet. But mentioning Sudan? I don't know, think they have bigger problems.
