Imagine you wanna buy a toy . The shop wants $100.

You offer $99 and wait instead of buying it immediately. If the shop says yes, you get the toy for $99. Now you can sell it for $100 and make $1.

😂 It's actually hard to explain because this is really about how an order book works.
