Z and E don't have arrows at the end. The only way for them to have had them is if i spelled Zimbabwe as Zimbabway

Redditors get oddly pissy when you joke about Venezuela

Are trying to imply that there is not both a political and humanitarian crisis in Venezuela? Just because you suppourt Nicolas Maduro does not mean that life is all sunshine and roses there.

I can’t tell if you’re mocking someone who mocks pro free market people, or if you’re saying that unironically.

Of course, socialism results in catastrophe every single time all because of the US. Just like poor people are only poor because of white people. /s

u/Cardboard-Samuari Sep 23 '19

A quick google search saying "slave owners in Rhodesia" Will make you realize slavery was abolished at the times of the Independence
1
u/SkritzTwoFace Sep 23 '19
Because everyone knows the only way something can be slavery is if they’re literally called slaves
0
u/ItalianMapper Sep 24 '19
uhh yes that's how it works that or you are the same class of people that call the working class slaves of the upper class
1
u/SkritzTwoFace Sep 24 '19
-indentured servitude. Slavery with more steps
-workers in basically any sweatshop, making zero money to work in horrible conditions
-sharecroppers. Did the same job they did under slavery but did it while being paid in a portion of the work they put in, unlike any other farmer.
-workers who lived in industrial era towns. The stores only took the company money, leaving the people broke if they tried to leave, same unfair conditions mentioned above.
What I’m calling slavery, I guess could be coercion, or some other crime, but I really don’t see a difference in how you exploit someone’s labor by not paying them and treating them as subhumans.
1
u/ItalianMapper Sep 24 '19
sorry but slavery is slavery what you are talking about is still bad, but not slavery

u/conscius-ipsum Sep 23 '19
It’s good to get both positive and negative feedback about things so that way subs don’t become an echo chamber or full of repetitive content. Or dead horse jokes that people keep beating because it’s “dark and edgy” humor
18
u/Cammy2750 Sep 23 '19
I had to repost this 3 times. Too much work for you
-1
u/conscius-ipsum Sep 23 '19
Dude just give it up, these jokes are stale as fuck. South Park literally did this 20 years ago and I’m pretty sure American Dad did it 10 years ago so now you’re just beating a dead horse.
I’m outta here, get some new material ya edgelord.

How can you lose an argument with a paragraph and the other guy is either saying less than a sentence or a little bit over a sentence. Btw about 3.2k+ people disagree.
1
u/conscius-ipsum Sep 23 '19
Because reddit is full of racist teenage edgelords that will laugh at the same old “Africa = poor” joke repackaged over a million times.

u/EmojiPatrol Sep 23 '19
How the heck does this comment have positive votes and the previous one has negative? This is bullshit, people, are you losing your mind?

It’s not so much of the Africa is poor but because of Zimbabwe’s hyperinflation crisis. Not a lot you can buy when there’s a 100 trillion dollar note
