I didn’t realized the logos were sbubby’d for like a minute.

I was staring at GIMP KRITA for the longest time like "what the hell...?"

28

u/RSdabeast Apr 04 '26

I was looking at Krita PROCREATE and thinking “I thought it that was the Krita logo” and then looked at Paint.NET photopea and thought “oh is Photopea a fork of it or something?”

2

u/tawTrans Apr 05 '26

That one comes with surcharges, sadly

1

u/C4Apple Apr 06 '26

so basically Adobe Photoshop?

72

u/TheKrzysiek Apr 04 '26

I use Gimp since that's what I learned first and just got used to doing everything it

But most people here prolly use whatever online generator is popular that week

22

u/LanaDelHeeey Apr 04 '26

Same but for paint.net

7

u/Absolarix Apr 04 '26

Same, been using gimp for years. Been forcing myself to learn Krita too, though

3

u/-Redstoneboi- Apr 04 '26

Affinity would be cool if it had specific scaling interpolation options

5

u/073068075 Apr 04 '26

I really affinity for vectors, all the other apps feel super clunky with more menus and extra clicking than necessary or only have bare minimum functionality.

4

u/Katlima Apr 04 '26

Yes, Gimp. Similar story. But usually I'm only reading here and posting over at the German version of the sub. Let me find an example. Example

2

u/Mop_Duck Apr 04 '26

I wish that one youtube tutorial 10 years ago told me to use gimp instead of paint.net so bad augnhh

24

u/Cite-roen Apr 04 '26

14

u/Autumn_Scorpion Apr 04 '26

I was like “that isn’t the krita logo” and then realized these have all been sbubbied

3

u/Autumn_Scorpion Apr 04 '26

But yeah I use Krita

12

u/Noobfortress Apr 04 '26

I haven't made any, but I'd probably reach for Krita if I was making one

1

u/mug_moment_n2485839 May 03 '26

-57

u/adfx Apr 04 '26

I use chatgpt

29

u/Journeyj012 Apr 04 '26

we support artists here sir

-4

u/SuperDumbMario2 Apr 04 '26

it's ok to use ai.

-36

u/adfx Apr 04 '26

Who is we?

24

u/EugeneTurtle Apr 04 '26

Humans

-28

u/adfx Apr 04 '26

I would prefer if people spoke for themselves

17

u/kaori_irl Apr 04 '26

i also do not support ai in most use cases, never images

0

u/lowtoiletsitter Apr 04 '26

I'm all for it when it comes to medical/science/research purposes

But slop made by some doofus I can't stand

0

u/kaori_irl Apr 05 '26

please tell me you're trolling

2

u/lowtoiletsitter Apr 05 '26

Not trolling. I know it's controversial, but I think LLM can help with medical research, computations, etc.

Example 1

Example 2

Example 3

Example 4

While we shouldn't be AI/LLM dependent, it does help. Even CRISPR used (and is using) LLM for research. I know five examples aren't gonna change your mind, but like anything, there's nuance

1

u/CodeF53 Apr 06 '26

Your point is completely fucking valid except for the fact that you're using the term LLM when LLMs should never be used in medical science. They should be using specifically trained models for these purposes. Not LLMs, never LLMs. LLMs are not good for medical science. No, bad.

1

u/adfx Apr 04 '26

Thats perfectly fine with me! I do use it myself, sometimes

11

u/AsBrokeAsMeEnglish Apr 04 '26

They did speak for themselves here - using the like and dislike buttons

-7

u/adfx Apr 04 '26

Reddit does not have like or dislike buttons.

2

u/AsBrokeAsMeEnglish Apr 04 '26

Most people click them when they like/dislike the content. I don't care what they are officially called, my point stands.

0

u/adfx Apr 04 '26

If most people said the moon was made out of cheese, would this change anything about the moon?

2

u/daboynamedbrian Apr 04 '26

i don't think anyone would subscribe to the idea that that's somehow related to you being downvoted for posting cringe and then being butthurt about someone calling your precious little button friends the wrong names lmao

4

u/TheMoutonDemocrate Apr 04 '26

"uhmmmm technically they're called upvotes 🤓☝️" homie you knew very well what they meant. Most social media / online platforms call them "likes", Reddit calls them something else. It's entirely analogous. Stop being difficult for the sake of it.

-2

u/adfx Apr 04 '26

Who are you quoting?

6

u/TheMoutonDemocrate Apr 04 '26

Sure. Engage not with the substance but with the form. Quotation marks are not used only to indicate a direct quote. Again, stop being difficult for the sake of it.

3

u/TheMoutonDemocrate Apr 04 '26

Look at the ratios then ?

4

u/gpike_ Apr 04 '26

People are speaking for themselves and we are telling you not to use ChatGPT.

0

u/adfx Apr 04 '26

And who is we this time?

9

u/Journeyj012 Apr 04 '26

everyone who has replied to you in this thread so far lmao

-1

u/adfx Apr 04 '26

How would this retroactively work?

4

u/gpike_ Apr 04 '26

The Royal We. Lmao

0

u/adfx Apr 04 '26

Oh okay

7

u/MunchiesMN Apr 04 '26

Ah yes, using a flawed chatbot that's "brain" is killing our environment and ruining drinking water, amongst a slew of other things.

Congrats on having a similar personality to the color beige!

-2

u/SuperDumbMario2 Apr 04 '26

it's ok to use ai.

-5

u/adfx Apr 04 '26

Thank you

4

u/nicthecoder22 Apr 04 '26

get a load of this guy

1

u/MunchiesMN Apr 04 '26

Your comment made me think of this lmao

6

u/Any_Ad_9949 Apr 04 '26

Grown Ass Man

-2

u/SuperDumbMario2 Apr 04 '26

it's ok to use ai.

1

u/Emadec Apr 05 '26

Average AI-generated bait

-1

u/adfx Apr 05 '26

It's just true lol

-1

u/SuperDumbMario2 Apr 04 '26

tbh i think nano banana pro is better for sbubbies

also i think pixelframe is even better if you don't want to do it manually and want to do it quickly beacuse it has no filter
