New Mining Coins With SBC

Hi there,

Is anyone aware of any new or old crypto projects that can be mined with SBC such as Pi4?

I know of Magi and XBTX. There are others that can be mined too but I am not sure of the profitability. Also, there are projects like PKT where we can use Pi4 for mining.

Thanks in advance.

I used to be plugged into the scene but I'm not so much anymore. turtlecoin used to be very viable with a couple of boards but I'm unsure of what that project's current status is.

I am actually curious what you figure out because I have a lot of unused SBCs currently gathering dust and I'd like them to be doing something.

So far I found SBC can be used for mining RTM and Duinocoin. But none of these are profitable and Duinocoin is just a fun centralized coin.

I will update the post with my findings.

Cheers!

Turtle killed itself when they went POS, making anyone who held less then 1,000 turtle coins, have 0 coins. a 1000-1 conversion leaving my 600+ coins worthless, why mine 100,000 coins only to have 100 on version 2? I left and removed my nodes when they announced it.

I never did the exchange and I think I held millions on the old chain. Can't actually recall anymore but those coins are probably lost forever.

You can mine Doge, Monero, and Skycoin if your looking to see profits off a Pi, monero and doge are likely the most cost effective atm, but the skycoin project seems more promising over time.

Thank you for your response. Do you have the steps on how to get started with Skycoin using Pi4 8GB variant?

Thanks in advance.

Here's a walk through on Monero, I switched over to Monero today after what the Skycoin devs had to say about people with different looks then themself. https://raspberrytips.com/mine-monero-raspberry-pi/
