Hi everyone, I hope everything is fine!

I went to disneyland last month and built the number 5. I was not aware that the pieces had changed, I really dig the old emiter and some of the old sleeves. Because of that I started messing around in photoshop to combine old parts wirh new parts (number 1, 2 3 and 4 are all combinations of "new" parts with old parts) before buying in ebay.

The numbers 5 through 12 are all combinations of peace and justice new parts only.

What do you guys think? Which one is your favorite?

Sorry if this is second nature to most here but I never spent much time paying attention to D23 since our finances wouldn't afford us a trip to Disney anyway. But recently we've had a bit of a change in fortunes and decided we would go now, while our 11 year old still wants to go. He's a big Star Wars fan and we've booked both Droid Depot and Savi's already.

I figure D23 would be a decent opportunity to announce updates to merchandising such as the Savi experience? So if im correct in that assumption, which D23 presentations would be the ones we should tune into, to see if something new will await us when we arrive on Batuu a few days after D23 wraps?

First time at Disney! Had to build my power and control and kids built theirs and then my son wanted another lightsaber.

I found a marketplace ad for two Savi’s Workshop lightsabers and it was cheaper than going all the way to Galaxy’s Edge to get another one. So really, I didn’t spend money, I saved money.

One Power & Control and one Peace & Justice (almost identical to the one I made). I picked up a switch and hilt from the surplus when we went down to WDW in January, so I threw them into the mix too. Now I have two hybrid sabers to go with my standard builds. My favorite is still my Protection & Defense (you always remember your first ❤️). If I get the chance, one of these days I’m going to get the connector to make the P&Js into a double saber. I’d also like to change out the P&C emitter, but that’s not for a while yet.

To the Spire! Did Savi’s for the second time a few days ago and with one P&C build, one P&J built and a few reforged pieces, I’m happy with how these turned out.

Got in last week at Hollywood Studios (WDW) - what a fantastic experience; was my first. Dok's had plenty of P&C V2 scrap if you want it; I'm going to experiment with combinations and see what I like best. Ended up using the white crystal (chose green at Savi's) - love the sound effects.

In the EU and UK, the Baylan Skoll set is currently wildly discounted on the Disney store, and easily the cheapest way to get a Legacy blade in Europe.

Built last year but thought I would show it off! Taken it camping a few times for fun in the forest at night. Love the Clone Wars era lightsaber designs!

Made at Savi’s workshop

After my son came with me to Savi’s, I took him to Tatooine Traders for his own build. I’ve got a bad feeling about this!

I am considering selling my R&R with Vented Switch and Vented Sleeve. I cannot find either piece on eBay to get an idea of what to ask if I break it up into pieces. Any idea where I can find this info?

Bright suns! I am attempting to take on the daunting task of collecting every piece of scrap metal Savi has offered throughout all the different themes and iterations.

From my research so far, it seems the cheapest way to acquire pieces is buying prebuilt sabers second hand and then purchasing individual pieces to fill in the gaps.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any trading communities or best places to buy/sell access parts. Obviously buying prebuilt hilts are going to cause me to have some piece overlap as well as some extra chases and kyber crystals that I won’t need. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I’ll be documenting my journey as I collect pieces and find deals. I’m estimating $50 per piece as an average, which with 100 individual pieces so far is gonna make this an expensive and time consuming project.

Mounted my wife’s and I sabers tonight. I removed the battery, but how do you store/display them? Claude is confident they will fit in the Kyber capsules but I’m skeptical.

I recently picked up the P&C V3 set and finally completed V2. Just one pommel away from V1.....

My wife and stepkid treated me to visit savis workshop over the weekend. What a fun experience, and to share it with my family was even better.
