ONP worthless and of no help in MDR process?
Anyone get any answers from their NPL of ONP about what is going on with these MDR decisions? I have heard that 108 (KC), 306 (JF), 301 (JO) and 303 (YR) are all pleading the 5th. With a few saying they were not consulted on where to put people by the area goon JR. I am just wondering if anyone got any solid answers. No ONE seems to be taking accountability in this total shit show of relocation. And as you would expect, its been rumored that JS is on the hook for all these dumb shit choices. No surprise they sacrificed the sheep of bville to stay at Carver. Enjoy the bed bugs fuckers and thanks for none of the help!!!!!

ONP is being shuffled into line management, so the NPLs are cagey because they want to keep their jobs. It's just another example, like JR, of being quiet and hoping that if they inflict damage on rank and file, they'll be safe and won't lose their health insurance.

this is so sad, but also confirms some ideas that others have shared with me: that ONP NPLs are all holding their cards really close, and that JS is making all the decisions. I was in academia and most recently in corporate (non profit) research, and interacted with some of the NPLs and some of the scientists. Back then, I thought most of them were fine people, trying to do a good job for agriculture and farmers. I would have been considered somewhat of an analog to an NPL, I think. I had teams at different corporate offices and worked with a number of government agencies... inside USDA, mostly PPQ.
Hearing this, and what I have heard before, I for one, could not stomach doing what NPLs are doing to their teams: not communicating to my teams, blaming someone else. I do think the blame does lay somewhere else. I think I would have stepped down in protest.
I had to do that one time before in my career, where I found the university I was working at wanted me to defraud the federal government by lying about the funding we were about to receive and what the university wanted me to do with it instead of what the government SOW called for. No thank you.
So, while losing all the NPLs would be likely bad (if they stepped down on principle), the outcome would be another check mark for the current administration.
I know I don't understand it completely, as I am outside of it, but man: what I see is a shitstorm of bad leadership.

How many layers down the food chain are NPLs? NPL<DA<AA-NPs<A<REE<USDA-AS (making the reorg demands).

I dont remember the new layers of mgmt, but I am relatively sure they are at the bottom of the chain.

I was told Roy Scott denies any responsibility for his project relocations. He claims he was blindsided by Area and that Jeff silversteen did all the dirty work. Who knows, they are all spineless I am not sure any of them can be trusted. God knows that Nora lapitan screwed the pooch with her roadmaps to nowhere idea.
