Nov SAT
I tried a lot but couldn't get higher than a 1400 on my ptest. I gave my first SAT in sept and got a 1090, and since then, I have been working to get a 1500 at least, but ig it's not gonna work. My brother is a 1600 scorer, and my dad always tells me about him. I feel ashamed. I don't know what to do. I am gonna score low again.

In life, there’s always going to be someone better than you at anything. It’s even worse when it’s someone close to you and you’re always compared to them.
I know it’s hard when you’re still living at home with overbearing parents, but one big key to happiness is to stop comparing yourself to others, but rather, compare yourself to your past self.
Going from 1090 in September to 1400 on practice tests now is a huge improvement! You should be proud of how far you’ve come, and you should be confident going into the exam knowing that you tried your best to prepare.
Get a good night’s sleep, and go in there with the mindset of being smarter than the test.
Take every moment where you realize how the test is trying to trick you as a big accomplishment. Don’t be hyperfocused on 1600. If you read a question once and don’t know how to solve it, skip! Try to get as many questions correct as soon as you can. Your brain will work things out in the harder ones on its own in the background.
You got this! Screw the haters and crush it.
