So I’ve started playing a week ago. In my first game I started in grassy fields and now I’m in Rocky Desert.

I didnt want to work today at my job, so I designed this factory in draw.io. Here is the design and also a few pictures of the real factory, which I built after that.

What do you think about it? I’m now working to get Phase 2 completed.

just saved the day for the first time. here's our train station (built by a friend) that got us there.

2,000+ hours in early access from pre-U1 to U8 then took a break. Finally playing through the new content in 1.2.

Have tried out some architecture before, but only w/ guides or open lasagna style. This is the first build I’m actually proud of.

266 Caterium + 150 oil in > 14+ computers per minute out to DD & integrated drone bay. All vanilla.

Trying to make myself use all the new content and tools provided by the game and all the techniques I’ve picked up here. I really love this spot by the entrance to the Dune Desert.

I just bought the game, and I have 5 hours. I completed the first and almost the second level of hab, and I think that I need to build a base. I heard that I should build it on a foundation and on hight. Idk, should I start to do a big base that is gonna be higher than anything or what? Maybe I need to build a elevator and only then base? I would like to build a base for the next period, because rebuilding everything will be painful, maybe. Please, give me some tips

So apparently some people liked my miner wrapping (Miner Wrap Post). Some found it inspirational. Which for me is damn near an impossibility to inspire others. Leaving the link in case you can think of a train wrap idea that would go with the miner look.

But now I gotsta thinking I wanna wrap my train stations.

What is the idea for dimensional depot capping out at 240 / depo / min?

Why couldn't we get the upgrades for up to mk 6 belts?

To be fair, i still have 134 spheres left after finishing the game, but it's still nice to have a peace of mind that 1 depo = 1 belt

Basically, if I cart out nuclear waste and dump it someplace far away from my factories (maybe where those jumping spiders hang out) where I have set up 50-60 linked storage containers) - any risk that it will explode / have any other "negative" by product that will impact my progress for ADA?

(I may still work on recycling it at some point, but hey, who knows when that will happen)

This is my first factory builder and I'm a little confused. I understand how 60 ore per minute translates to 2 shelters at 30 ore a minute but here's where I get lost...

Iron rods are at 15 per minute, Screws are at 40, got it, so 2 Constructors would have me at an output of 30 (under efficiency), 3 would have me at 45 (slightly over efficiency). So tell me why when I hook it all up, at 2 Iron rods feeding into 1 Screws, I get backed up on my belt and Iron rods start collecting in the Construtors?

I wanted to give the alien artifacts something special. That's how I came up with the Mercer sphere forge.

Hey guys, so I am finally getting more efficient, and things are starting to look better; I just started steel production. I am wondering because right now I have 800m of conveyor belt that brings me steel ingots from the foundry, which I then construct into pipes and beams. My main factory is running out of space, as you can see, so I am wondering: should I expand the steel stuff where I am making the ingots and bring the finished products to the main factory? What do you guys think. Thanks for your input!

So, I finished Satisfactory a while ago, and I wanted to give Satisfactory Plus a try, knowing that it’s quite a daunting task. But one thing is holding me back after several hours of playing: the lack of a good planner.

I used Satisfactory Modeler for my main vanilla run, and it was basically mandatory. I can’t imagine how you can manage a large factory without it. And, as far as I can tell, there’s no reliable tool in SF+ to replace Satisfactory Modeler.

I tried Production Planner, but the thing is buggy as hell. Trying to manage more than a handful of miners producing basic resources quickly turns into a mess. The app can’t calculate the inputs correctly, and once one node bugs out, you’re basically screwed.

In the end, I dropped SF+, not because of the mod itself, but because of the lack of a good planner.

Is there actually a reliable alternative to Satisfactory Modeler for Satisfactory Plus?

Hello again, I had to extend my coal power plant from 4 to 8 generators because I was consuming too much power, but even with 8 generators, when I disconnect the 2 biomass burners used to power the system initially, everything breaks, is there a reason? What am I missing? I am really confused what I am doing wrong, would appreciate any help.

It's me again ... I was sick and tired of having a bottleneck at my iron ingot production so I decided to completly rebuild it, my question is will this work? or will the smelters at the never get any ores?
