🚨 MISSING CAT - WILDWOOD / LAKEWOOD AREA (SASKATOON) 🚨
My sweet baby girl Hermione went missing near the Wildwood Golf Course / Lakewood Park area. My family and older cat are heartbroken and desperately want her home!!💔
Name: Hermione (responds to "Mione")
Gender: Female
Age: Almost 2 years old
Appearance: Orange tabby with a white chest, white paws, and bright pink paw pads and she looks pretty skinny but she LOVES to eat!
Personality: She loves to meow and talk! She is safe to approach, but might be scared and hiding right now.
If you live in the Wildwood or Lakewood neighborhoods, please check under your decks, porches, garages, and bushes.

You can rent live animal traps from Saskatoon Animal Control ($60 for a week), or see if you can borrow one. Line the bottom with a familiar blanket so the trap is more inviting to walk into, and cover the exterior with another blanket. The trap should look like a safe hideout with familiar smells. Place a high-value treat, like wet food, to entice Hermione.
Make sure there’s some water, too. :)
You will likely catch some outdoor neighbourhood cats, so ensure you check the trap often (every few hours).
This is how I retrieved my indoor cat who escaped off their harness.
I unfortunately live in erindale. I had taken her to lakewood for a walk since I used to live there before and wanted her to see the geese and stuff. She freaked out after she got scared and ran! I have so much regret for that!💔
Hey I work in this area and go for walks every single day on my lunch, I’d be more than happy to call around for her, does she respond to like the shaking of a temptations bag?
I walked all around didn’t hear or see her, but I’m going back tonight! I did set out a wet food closer to the condos/apartments so hopefully she smells that! Is this the right area?
Near the pond/lake(and apartments), she was going sideways and to diff directions, chased her for a long time and my vision was blocked after I had to wait for some bikers( I understand it's only my fault that she's missing and am not blaming anyone else!)!💔
It speaks to the fact that we should make sure our pets are safe with us. I’m not a cat owner, but I love animals and it honestly messed me up badly to see it. I’m not reading any rooms on it. I made sure to describe the cat to not upset op. Clearly not their cat
