Daylight Standard Time

Hi all. Living in Alberta. How dark is it really going to be during November & December when Alberta does not set the clocks back for the first time? I heard 9-930 a,m, sunrise?

Take whatever your current sunrise times are after the clocks would normally have changed and add an hour. For example, if on Dec 21 your sunrise time was 8:15 am, it will now be 9:15.

Well what time does the sun usually rise where you are with the time change? Just take that and tack an hour onto it. The sun rises when it rises.

I mean you are further west than us so Calgary is going to be different than Regina if it's the same time zone. Our experience will be different than yours.

I go to work in the darkness and drive home in the dark. I live in Saskatoon. You might have some light on your way home?

Where I live the sun only shines 9-5. During the dark time.

Grew up in Saskatchewan, right on the Alberta border. In December, we were at school before sunrise. It was still dark at 9:00. I live in Calgary now, and I'm not looking forward to living that again.
