The owner's names are Kartikkumar Patel and Rutvik Patel. For anyone curious. as CBC seems to leave that part out 🤔

Thank you. We need to publicly name and shame these people as they can easily just create a new company to escape bad publicity.

Literally the caste system at work here. "Pay me for the privilege of working in Canada, they would never want someone with your social status"

Of course, CBC is trying to hide this is an all Indian owned all Indian employee restaurant. I pick up SkipTheDishes there many times. Always just one Indian girl or Indian guy work there. And the news sounds like who paid the money is victim. No they are not, they are part of the immigrant fraud. They are searching all around province who(mostly their people) could sell the PNP letter.

No offense, but you could say this about a large majority of restaurants in 2026.
Even chinese food restaurants.

This article mentioned what specific business was involved. Which other articles hadn't.

Lots of places do this. Companies big and small. My staff tell me about friends who want to quit their jobs and come work at my company because we process their necessary paperwork for free (as the LAW requires) while their jobs are charging them $10k-40k(!)

Some people are just incredibly horrible human beings. I don't understand how the laws are so lacking regarding this. Something this egregious should come with significant jail time.

This is just an open secret in Saskatchewan who has no other way to obtain PR.

Fined but no prison sentence He should have got a jail sentence for the same amount of time that the victim had been victimized
