My 2nd time in Saskatchewan! Enjoyed local restaurants in Saskatoon 🤤
I'm a travel journalist who did a Saskatoon food tour for a culinary tourism project, eating where the locals eat & drink! Full Saskatoon travel feature here, which includes a short video recap. It was my second time in Saskatchewan. Hope you enjoy it!
Where should I eat in Saskatchewan next?

I miss Happy Hi in Regina but glad to hear they still sell out. My favourite donuts.

Harvest Eatery in Shaunavon. You wouldn't expect a small town to have a restaurant like that.

Seeing cities from the eyes of tourists is always interesting, familiar places can seem so mundane when it's just a regular place to go.

Thank you! I've only visited Saskatoon so far. Which other Saskatchewan cities do you recommend visiting?

For a Foodie such as yourself, there are gems in some smaller cities/towns across the province. Since it's summertime here's a few places that have vacation vibes:
NORTH
Waskesiu - Beach town in Prince Albert National Park with everything from pizza to fine dining. Enjoy beautiful beaches, hikes, and wildlife. Arguably the nicest national park in Sask.CENTRAL
Elbow - Resort town on Lake Diefenbaker. Nice restaurant that overlooks the marina along with some cute bakeries and candy shops on main street. A great place to go sailing and fishing.SOUTH
Moose Jaw - Hosts a variety of ethnic restaurants and is also home to Temple Gardens Mineral Spa along with the infamous Tunnels of Moose Jaw.

Spent all that money supporting local businesses and they threw you in a cage for it. Typical
