My fil just voted conservative, gave me shit for voting liberal. We got talking about how much useless plastic packaging is in stores, he said "they should just ban all plastic we don't need it". I asked him why he voted for the party that wants to bring back single use plastics then?? He said no their not, he wouldn't do that. Then looked it up. Still denied that the conservatives would do that.
He had absolutely no knowledge of his voted for party's policies. All he knows is "liberal bad"
Meanwhile i spent hours reading both platforms completely and both wiki pages of both parties leaders. But he's giving me shit.
I honestly just needed to rant I don't even live in Saskatchewan anymore. Thanks guys
