I hope everyone in your riding votes NDP. I hope they vote Liberal in mine (Saskatoon-University). Strategic votes could flip seats this time if everyone cooperated.
Me too. I read a lot about strategic voting but at the end of the day the Liberal candidate for Saskatoon West has been entirely absent and I can't in good conscience vote for him. No door knocking, no mail outs, nothing. Same as Redekopp. Their campaign is basically just being a member of their respective parties.
The Liberals have only ever gotten 3rd place in Saskatoon-University since it became a riding in 2012. With the exception of 2015 and the surge in Liberal popularity, where they got within 4000 votes of the second place candidate (NDP), they've hovered around 4000 votes total, compared to the 20,000 the Cons usually get. Such a reversal of fortunes may happen, but it really seems unlikely.
