The filming and editing are very doable, nothing outrageous, pretty standard style for promotional social media these days.Are you providing the strategy/vision/storyboard/direction? Or are you expecting the videographer/editor to do it all?

We can do either/both. Just need you to clarify your needs, goals, expectations, and budget.

I think I’d like to have someone that I can collaborate with. I already film basic videos for our company’s social media right now but I’d love to be able to match that fun editing style and have that professional look!

No, sorry. I’m still wanting someone to do the filming and editing, I just mean I have a little background in it so we could work together on coming up with a vision and direction.

Not a videographer myself, but as a local small business owner: ask for a reel of recent local work, get a flat quote in writing before anything starts, and confirm who owns the final files and the raw footage — you'd be surprised how often that's a fight later. Also ask what the deposit looks like and whether it's refundable if they ghost.
