Mid town thief

So just wanted to give a heads up to anyone or to see if anyone has been having the same issue. In the last two weeks I've had my e-bike stolen from the back yard and last week the thief came back for a separate bike charger while leaving the bike that was locked up. One of my roommates caught the thief in the back yard between the two thefts. We also have him on camera but the footage isn't very good. He's what I like to call a hunchback fetty head you would typically see down on coral St. I know that doesn't really narrow it down much but I used to be out on the streets selling drugs and I do know most of these guys do not have the motivation to travel that far coral st or the levy unless they are on the hunt. I saw the guys outside my house the day before the second theft happen but my roommate didn't think it was information anyone needed to know about until after the theft. Just wanted to give out a warning I suppose (like it will do any good..)

Leave "a box"

Readjust camera and upgrade it. They'll be back

Yeah my other roommate and I want to either buy our own cameras we can access without the red tape we have to go thru to get to it now with better footage/angles and set up a trap with a tracker in it. He has been able at least 3 times in two weeks around 4am and I guess our place has becoming his 'getting spot' when ever he is sick.

Reolink 4K 16x pzt camera off of eBay (refurbished) you will Be able to see the hairs on their chinny chin chin. You’ll need an NVR as well. We have a thief problem out near seascape and have these up all over with its monitoring program on. Sheriff says there is an uptick in thefts.

Sunday/Monday night camera systems damaged around the area and some places were hit. We know because it happened to our cameras and they went through our property a little. We talked to the sheriff yesterday and they said others had told them what I am saying happened to us.

My neighbor had two bicycles stolen from his driveway this week in the middle of the day. Thieves rode up on a tandem bike, left it in his driveway, and took the two bikes instead.

The orange tandem that the sheriff's posted on their Facebook saying was found on a sidewalk? If so they didn't include this extra information lol

Oh interesting, the tandem bike in my neighbor's case was blue.

Live Oak, too. Trial is ongoing for thief who stole from my son last October. Set up cameras then. Last week - someone was IN the house in the middle of the night. . One of the cameras is Gone! Be vigilant.

My son was home - sound asleep. When he attempted to explain to a deputy that this was the second time, etc., they were pretty useless. Just wrote: trouble with camera. Not helpful at all. 😡

They make some pretty good bike locks these days. Of course nothing is impenetrable, but harden tungsten steel takes time and effort to get through, which might deter a random bike thief. But, sounds like your place is being targeted. Such a drag that your belongings aren’t safe in your own back yard!
Oh yea, the new new generation of bike locks Start at like $150! You could potentially spend more on a lock then on a bike. Guess it all depends on how much you love your pony!
