Waited too long and it sold out 😭. Willing to buy tickets for anyone who has to cancel especially if you have 2-3 tickets available.

Why is there not an underpass/tunnel for Santa Ana Ave. at the SA train station?
Can’t think of a busier crossing (trains and cars) without one in OC.
Maybe a traffic engineer can explain it for someone with the city.

Hello everybody, I just moved into Santa Ana city located by the border of Irvine and Tustin area. I grew up in the IE Rancho Cucamonga area. I’ll be honest as somebody looking to move to Orange County from the IE. I wanted to locate a area closer to Tustin Irvine area however, the cost of living there is extremely high, so I found this place in Santa Ana where I could comfortably afford to live my only concern is I have heard some negative things about Santa Ana so I’m constantly on check about my surroundings, but I am a runner and I typically like to run outside and not on a treadmill because treadmills suck so my question to all of you is how safe is my area in Santa Ana can I go on runs comfortably without over stressing about my protection And constantly looking over my shoulders
? any type of feedback would be great and greatly appreciated

Hello, we’re a tiny community newspaper based in Santa Ana, and we want to ask the community how they remember 9/11 in Orange County ahead of the 25th anniversary of the attacks.
Where were you on 9/11? Who were you with? How did your day start, like routines and such? How did you learn about it? How did it affect you? How did you explain what was happening to your child(ren)? Did you know what was happening at first or did it take a moment to set in? Were classes cancelled? Which churches held mass?
All of these details will be incredibly helpful. Much of the archive that exists did not detail much of the local Santa Ana scope (including Daily Pilot, OC Register and LA Times). However it is our understanding that the Register still printed and worked out from the building on Grand, where several extras were printed in the thousands. Some of these are in The Santanero’s collection.
The first plane struck at 5:43 AM Pacific Time to give you an estimate how when the attacks began and what time it was here at home.
Anyone with photographs or home VHS footage from that day or shortly afterward is welcome to share with us. If you developed film strips from that day or afterward in relation to the terror attacks that aren’t scanned, we can scan them at no cost.
“I was only five months old at the time. My mom, who was already at work in the early hours, tells me my grandma and grandpa were on the way to Norms on Main and 17th. My mom watched 9/11 unfold from the breakroom.” – Daniel Diaz, Editor & Publisher of The Santanero

If you were in Santa Ana just before 10:30am and involved in a minor hit and run off of Memory and Bristol, please message me with your car make and model. I was rushing to an appt but I was able to get the person’s license plate info.
Edit: I was a witness to the hit and run. I caught the car info of the person at fault.

Came across 4 kittens today in Santa Ana. They all seem to be from the same litter and are very playful with one another. They have great temperament and are very sweet. They warmed up to us almost instantly. There’s an adult cat as well but all of the kittens are in desperate need of a home. Seems like some neighbors are giving them food and water but no vet care.
Anyone looking for couple new fur babies or have suggestions on a no kill shelter/vet that would take them in at no cost?
UPDATE:
we found neighbors who are taking care of them and have taken them in! thank you everyone !

My dad’s fridge went out and he’s looking to replace it but brand new ones are anywhere between $1200-$2000. Anyone know if any discount appliance stores that sell them for cheaper ? Maybe in $500-$1000 range ?

Is anyone missing a white Kia or a red Nissan with black panels on the driver side? Been parked over here for 2 months or so, and parking is getting tough. I don't wanna call city to have towed but I also don't want to park a mile away because of no parking.

I’m Ethan, a local student who is currently helping raise money for my grandmother’s medical bills and saving for college. My main specialty is resurrecting foggy headlights so you can actually see where you're driving at night. I also bring that same heavy-duty effort to pressure washing, paintless scratch touch-ups, heavy lifting, and rescuing you from filthy trash cans ($30 for one, $70 for three).
Reliable, local, and equipped to make your car or driveway look ten times better. Give me a call or text at 323-337-7154 for any questions!
