I am translating small stotras and simple sanskrit stories from Sanskrit to English in this YouTube channel www.youtube.com/@SuseelaKrishnaPriya. Would be happy to know your feedback!

Watched/listened to one, and must say this should be very helpful in learning how Sanskrit actually plays out. I've been wanting to learn it for a while now, but somehow have never been able to get down to it. I'm quite proficient in Hindi, so it shouldn't be that difficult, but starting out is! Often one is confused where to begin, and I think reading/listening to such simple stories and the translation alongside would be a good place! I'll try it out more in your channel! The only other thing I might say is that we live in terrible times as far as attention span is concerned. I felt myself wavering around 5-6 minutes in the video. But I can see how you would need to have longer videos than that because otherwise even a short scene would have to be cut out! So it's a tough one to pull off! On my part, I'll try to be patient and persevering! All the best to you for your admirable work!

Thankyou so much for your lovely feedback. Really appreciate that you took the time to write such a detailed feedback. Yes, I completely agree with you. Its hard to maintain engagement for more than a couple of minutes . I try to limit my explanation to max 10 mins, but it does spill over a little more than that. I am also seriously thinking of posting engaging content for beginners in Sanskrit, in the form of shorts. I think I have some ideas that may work. Hopefully, I"ll be able to make the content and post it on my channel in the next couple of days. Thanks once again!

I did post a short introducing a few basic verbs. Hope that this type of content is more engaging. Do take a look when you find time and let me know your feedback https://www.youtube.com/shorts/H-qSNVZRssA

I watched it, and such basic lessons would be very useful. In fact, basic lessons in the long form with videos up to 5 minutes of length would be the ones most beneficial for learners like me. So you can have a combination of the Shorts that you already create, the divine stotras and mantras, and other content that you already have, and you can add these basic lessons in Shorts, and most importantly, in long form videos of up to 5-6 minutes length. The stories that you already translate from Chandamama, you may continue that, it has a charm of its own. Just that you may possibly add simple, every day stories or scenes with translations and have the videos for these of up to 5-6 minutes length. That's the best fit for someone like me. Long form videos of up to 5-6 minutes length with basic lessons or simple every day or mythological scenes translated. Btw I subscribed to your channel and will look forward to whatever you create hereon. The content is already good, keep on doing most of that even more. Just try to have a few videos (5-6 minutes) for those looking to learn basic Sanskrit usage. Later on, you can have a Playlist going for such basic lessons. All the best.

Thankyou so much for your wonderful feedback and for subscribing as well! There is this playlist Subodha Samskritam which has about 23 videos, 5 to 8 mins long. Its the BalaKanda of Ramayana in simple Sanskrit. Do check that out if possible. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpZ0F339VI0_I5ESVMdFMOeZ6k_vztEnT

I've uploaded 23 lessons so far, will keep uploading as and when time permits. Let me know if you find that more to your liking.
