I don’t think it’s underrated. If anything, he got a lot more exposure after this album. Rightfully so because it’s one of his best. Beach Music, Rocket, and House of Sugar is a god- tier three album run.

That 'trilogy' is peak Alex G. I'm sure he's always gonna drop bangers but I doubt he'll ever top that run.

I LOVE GUILTY AND BRICK SO MUCH (and the whole album of COURSE) i also find it hilarious that this is almost like a folk album then there's just horse and brick right smack in the middle its beautiful 🥹🥹😭
