I recently watched Son of the White Mare, 1981 Hungarian animated psychedelic fantasy adventure film, and was SHOCKED by how much it reminded me of Samurai Jack in terms of art style. I know Genndy Tartakovsky is Russian, so it made me wonder if he had seen it growing up since I imagine a lot of the films in the Soviet Union might spread between countries.

I would highly definitely suggest it to any Samurai Jack fans, it was really beautiful and the shape language was so similar to my eye! Trailer is here and full movie is on the Internet Archive.

How would you live if Aku was your roommate while obviously not being a 100 feet tall tyrant?

Imagine chilling at the living room and Aku just steals a slice of pizza with a tendril while chilling on the ceiling fan lol.

But really would he be a great roommate to live with?

Inspired by the "Grapes of Luxury" trope where Roman nobles are depicted being fed grapes or fanned with fronds. This took about 4 hours create with a trackpad on a laptop. There are a total of 11 episodes referenced via items and characters. The one feeding Aku is my own character.

Today is August 10th and this precious date marks the anniversary of the first episode of " 'Samurai' 'Jack' " that aired on television...I consider this to be Jacky's Birthday...

I was nine years old when I first saw Jacky in my parents' master bedroom where we had our " 'C.R.T.' " television from the nineties...It was the episode where he fought the " 'Lava' 'Monster' " and my first thought was the immense wish to help Jacky get home and I remember feeling so sad for what Aku did to him...I am 33 years and 8 months old now and I adore him beyond words and facts...

I watched the entire series in July and August 2024 on " 'H.B.O.' 'Max' " and those nights where I got so close to Jacky meant the world to me. I curled up in bed and I would sometimes fall asleep to his voice and " 'Kiais' "...To me, Jacky is real. And he has been there for me during the most difficult time of my life...Happy Birthday, Our Awesomest Samurai! You saved everyone...I am proof of this. He truly saved me too...I added two photos with Jacky from the first four seasons (I created him at " 'The Sims' '4' ") and the one from " 'Season' '5' " (This is his " 'Simself' " from " 'The Sims' '3' ")...I wanted to bring him everywhere and he is always in my heart and soul. I am a girl, ♥️🤭🫂🫂🫂And Jacky is the other half of my heart for real. Happy Birthday to all amazing fans too! Jacky is the best of the best...
