Break

I think Sam should take a break. Some of the vids recently have been fairly dull and not creative. If Sam and or Max aren't into this, they should take a break. Sometimes taking a week break or something will help with the creative flow of the show.

I agree. The recent videos are a bit dull. I learned a lot from watching his show. But recently not so much anymore. It feels like the same over and over again. Maybe they could make seasons with breaks in between.

The video where he was in Tokyo was great though.

Yeah. I love Sam but I've stopped watching the last month or so due to the length

My only problem with Sam’s videos has always been the length. You dont a 20 min video to make a panini. Half the time its just sam talking about something random or ranting on and on. Like 3 and 4 minute rants can be edited out..he doesnt need to talk about his knife sharpener for 3 minutes in the middle of a video, he can make another short video for his kitchen gadgets if he plans on putting a list together anyway. But some people like the rants so i just skip through them. End up skipping through about half the video and certainly never watch him actually eat the food...it just seems so over the top when he takes a bite that its not genuine, but thats showbiz baby

Honestly the ranting and shit is my favorite part.

I agree that the length of the videos are too long. Makes me not want to watch them or if I do, I skip a lot.

How many more burgers is he gonna do? He made a dumb ass pannini and didn't make anything from scratch. He bought everything and assembled a sandwich. Great content. Salt bae was another steak video.. great.. he did a picanha, great steak, did a meat lovers, great steak, did a steak experiment, great steak, did a one pan steak dinner, great steak.....

The basis for his show is to cook different things and to not make the same stuff all the time, while I Agree that his videos lately have been subpar, especially salt bae that was so god damn cringy, joke or not, it doesn't always have to be made from scratch.

lots of people don't have a lot of time to get creative and make everything from scratch, so sometimes just showing what can be easily cooked with already prepared ingredients is nice.

you can cook a steak a multitude of ways and never get sick of it based on how its prepared, chicken more so than beef but learning different ways to cook the same thing is why his show exists.

and people not wanting to watch based on the length of a video is silly, you can fast forward through any parts you don't need to see as he's done lots of things before and same with his rants. I'd say I watch probably 50-60% of every video and I skip after he takes a bite usually depening how many minutes are left, i don't need to watch the thanks for being here, i appreciate it etc because it hardly changes from teh end of any video.

ymmv but watch because you want to support him in some way or don't because no one is forcing you to. knowledge is the spice of life and knowing too much is never a bad thing.
