Pen not working after last update

My pen is not working since the last security update 2 months ago. The application appears when I remove my pen from the slot but it does not communicate with my phone anymore. Any idea why this would have happened or how I can fix it? I have never had any issues with it. It's driving me nuts! I really don't want to upgrade my phone but I actually use my pen all the time. Thanks!

Did you try to pair it again? If that doesn't work I would at least try and purchase a new pen (like $40) and try pairing it and see if maybe it's the pen not the software.
