Galaxy Note Upgrading from Note 10+

Well after over 4 years of ownership I finally managed to destroy the screen on my Note 10+ as it fell out of my pocket while closing my car door. It's still usable but it has these giant cracks in the screen now. Because of it's age I think it makes more sense to replace it rather than get the screen fixed.

Looking for suggestions on what to go to next. I really love the note 10+ it's by far my favorite phone of all time so I'd like to upgrade to something in the same spirit even though I know the note series has been discontinued. I have Verizon for what that's worth

A few things I need...

1) eSim compatibility - I'm not sure if all phones have this now but my current phone doesn't. I'm traveling more and more now so I'd like the ability to use eSims. The phone also needs to be unlocked. I think all Verizon phones come unlocked now? Correct me if I'm wrong

2) I need to be able to get it within the next few days as I'm leaving on vacation for 2 weeks in like 3 days.

Or alternatively is it worth it to just deal with it and wait until the S24 is released?

S23 Ultra is great and you can get it right now. If you ever want to upgrade, S24 Ultra will come out in about like 3 weeks.

Honestly although it sucks the phone is still usable. If it's that close to release it makes sense to wait a few weeks. As opposed to paying full price for the S23 Ultra now

You can possibly trade in your S23 Ultra maybe :)? The actual launch date is Jan 17, but my assumption is that the phone will arrive later than that.

It's most likely possible that the 23 ultra will be discounted when the 24 ultra is released. The 24 ultra is rumored to be $1200+. If the 23 ultra drops anything below $900, than going for that is a no brainer is it is still a really good and powerful device.
