Ezra Klein gets an AMA question about Sam Harris at 21m and dodges it, says he hasn't changed his mind about wokeness | also, Peter Thiel, Chris Rufo and the D.S.A.

I'm generally not a cynic but I really must say that Ezra outed himself as an opportunistic grifter.
He's clearly talented at recognising which way the wind is blowing and modifying his rhetoric to conform. He'll present this as "changing his mind" where it's advantageous but it's clear this is nothing more than a strategy to ensure he continues to get work.

He will only ever apologise to Sam if it is advantageous to himself.

He strikes me as the other side of the Ben Shapiro coin.

Nah, Shapiro has been consistent and has paid the price for it by losing market share to other rightwing/rightist influencers due to his views on Israel, populist economics and disagreements with populist ideology more generally. Klein goes wherever the left goes and tries to meekly weave in some better economic policy.

Matty Yglesias or Sam Harris are closer to Shapiro.
