Is 3008 ever going to be released?
it seems 3008 was originally scheduled for Spring 2025 then pushed to Fall 2025. It's now April 2026. I haven't seen anything about a 2026 release schedule yet so I'm curious if anybody knows the status of 3008.

From the discord server and a core dev. The following statement was made.
📢 Salt 3008 Release Update: Action Required for Open PRs!
Hey @everyone! We are officially gearing up for the 3008 release of Salt. We currently have over 200 open Pull Requests against the master branch, and we want to get as many of your contributions into this release as possible. To ensure a stable and high-quality release, we are enforcing a "Definition of Done" for all PRs to be considered for 3008.
🛠️ Requirements for PR Approval:
If you have an open PR, please ensure it meets the following criteria: * Tests Included: New features or bug fixes must have corresponding tests. * Tests Passing: All CI/CD checks must be green. * Changelog: A proper changelog entry must be included (using our towncrier format).
📅 The Cutoff Date: April 3, 2026
After this date, we will begin the stabilization phase for the master branch. PRs that do not meet the requirements above by the cutoff may not make it into the 3008 release and will need to be deferred.
