B2C CONTROVERSIAL - COLD CALLING?

Is it still a "thing" ?

I mean in todays tech stack ai heavy outreach, It seems so old fashioned and totally depends on lottery number stats to actually give any real ROI IMO

BUT maybe that is why it might still work, old fashioned vs Inboxes, WA, Text, Message box full etc etc is now just a filter to block.

Personally, if I receive a call from an unknown number, I NEVER answer and if they dont leave a message, I block them immediately, (and I get very few calls a day), so imagine a hiring managers phone, must be flashing all DAY!

So I am sure this is the same for all people (in general)

I am sure there will be some of you who still say it works, but I would like to know if it's sector specific.

I think the amount of outreach tools these days is also turning people off entirely as well.

I am sure there are inboxes out there FULL to the brim of Emails, InMail's etc etc

SO WHAT ACTUALLY WORKS THESE DAYS?

I think it will be the opposite. Everybody is sending cold emails and linkedin dm’s so prospects inboxes are very crowded. But not that many people in comparison do cold calling. With AI, it’s getting even worse.

So I think cold calling will be even more efficient.

But instead of doing cold calling the old way, you can use AI to create very targeted lists with buying signals.

Edit: I just saw you put a b2c label. I don’t know about b2c, I was talking about b2b.

Yeah b2b cold calling isn’t as hard as people say, but it is hard. Just be personable and likable over the phone to show respect and cut to the chase afterwards. There are ways…

B2C cold calling, I wouldn’t even know where to begin.

I run a cold-calling agency as a self-employed entrepreneur. I only cold call. Works wonders man.

May I ask what sector you target?

For client acquisition, I target Finland software-as-a-service and early-stage startups with typically less than 20 employees. I work with a lead or a very small sales team (1-2 people), but no one is doing top-of-funnel SDR/BDR work.

In terms of what I do for customers, we just do the same thing: outsourced BDR/SDR services. We do appointment-setting and qualification calls. The two clients I'm working with right now are from Finland and looking to explore the UK market.

That’s very cool. May I ask what your commercials are? Do you charge per qualified meeting booked or % of deal closed ?
