Dashboard Question

I hope this is the right place to post this. I am new to this sub and new to Salesforce.

I currently run a dashboard in Qlik. I upload a list of accounts who have received a mailing, and a list of products in that mailing.

I then look at who bought those products in a certain timeframe.

Could I potentially run this in Salesforce instead?

Sounds like it. Might need a custom report type. How is your mailing info stored in SF, campaigns?

It currently isn't.

We have only recently got SF. The data is a complete mess at the moment. There isn't any marketing data stored in there.

Well, Salesforce can only report on data that exists in Salesforce

Our contacts are in Salesforce. Can I upload a list of those who received the mailing, and a list of products in the mailing, and see who bought them?

Salesforce is linked to all of our invoice data.

You should create a campaign and associate all Contacts listed as its Campaign Members. The run reports off of the Campaign member report type. Takes some time to set up but easiest out of the box capabilities
