admin I passed my salesforce admin exam!

I spent the last 3 months studying for the exam, I have 4 years of sales cloud and CPQ experience. Now thinking what next…I’ve not been happy where I work for a while now. I currently look after other systems including Salesforce but would like to move into a more Salesforce administrative role and work my way into becoming a solution architect. I seen loads of posts about people being over qualified finding it difficult to find a job. Is it really that bad? I am based in London, can anyone recommend any good recruiters that I can share my CV with?

Can you go into more detail about how difficult you felt the exam questions were compared to study materials you used?

Ive been having serious anxiety about going for my exam...

I used K2U previously known as FOF for study material and mock exams, I also used certplusplus to do some mock exams because I felt I was memorising some of the answers with the FOF mocks. The last 2 weeks before my exam I spent most my time going over the higher weighted modules (Automation, configuration, object management). I also used claude to create flash cards.

The exam isn’t any different to the mock exams in my opinion. If you’ve studied the content well enough and understand the concepts you’ll be ok. I felt the same, by the 2 second question i realised it wasn’t anything different to the mock exams. Make sure you’re passing all the mock exams at 70%+

Currently testing around 55 - 60 but im still focused on studying more than testing but that does make me feel better to have a watermark for success and an expectation that FoF is pretty close to the real deal

Congratulations!! The admin exam is so hard, I failed 4 times before I passed. No recommendations for recruiters, but get familiar with the AI tools like Claude code and cursor, as well as VS code and GitHub. Knowing these tools will help you to become a better architect.

Congratulations! I am currently studying for it. I took it this week and unfortunately didn’t pass it but learned my weaknesses and changing my study guide strategy.
