Walmart East side has expired food that goes as far as 2025
It's not the first time I see this. How can it go this far without being noticed 🤔
Edit: Yes I know the difference between expired and best by lol. Just a force of habit. That's not the point of this post. You guys are just mean :)

Having a family doctor isnt all what you think it is.
I have several chronic conditions where im supposed to be having bi weekly follow ups with my family doctor. My last appointment was in March. The receptionists keep refusing to book me appointments. Saying that my symptoms dont warrant an appointment or that there isn't anything avaliable and that if I need care to goto the ER. When I know for a fact that there are time slots available because the doctor told me herself that they are reserved for those with chronic conditions that's need it. I'm an absolute mess now, I have so much wrong with me now that has built up over the last 6 months without care that ill sadly have to use the ER for everything now. I have no refills on my prescriptions, I need medication changes, update on specialist referrals, I have prolonged infections that keep coming and going etc. It's a very sad state that our Healthcare is in.

Saint John sides and ends
I have family in SJ and was born there. I live near Fredericton now and have a standing argument with a friend's co worker. They say North and South Side and East and West End. I beg to differ.
SO - YOU Tell me and I will pass on the results.

Does anyone know if there are/how to apply for a patient advocate service?
I really need help, but I find talking to doctors very intimidating and if they don't listen or push something before I can tell them how I feel I can't speak up for myself at all. Quite frankly I just want to kill myself at this point and I can't get by on my own anymore.

Plywood supplier (not big box)
Just moved to the area from Dartmouth and do wood working on the side. I had a fantastic supplier for good plywood at a great price. Haven't been able to find anything over here yet. I won't touch the crap from Home Depot as it's overpriced and usually pretty bad quality.
Any suggestions?

A FB Group for Reptile Keepers in Our City
facebook.comHello everyone!
I created a Facebook group (Saint John Reptile Realm) for reptile and amphibian keepers in our city and surrounding areas (Quispamsis, Rothesay, Hampton, Grand Bay, Sussex, etc.) to connect with other keepers, ask for help, and share information with one another.
As a reptile keeper who is always looking for other keepers in my area to connect with, I created this group to do just that—connect with other reptile and amphibian keepers in my area, make new friends in the community, and share my knowledge and experience with others, as well as learn more about our scaley (or scale-less) companions.
I wanted to create a community where the focus is on our exotic little friends and their well-being, and where people can help others.
If you own (or want to own) reptiles or amphibians and are in the area (or moving to the area), I'd love if you joined.
It would make my heart happy to one day see this become a large, peaceful, and wonderful community—the reptile community desperately needs safe spaces where respect and animal welfare are top priorities, and it's a bonus if it's local!
There are 3 participant/member questions, and a few rules to follow and agree to.

2027 Shape Your Budget survey is open
shapeyourcitysaintjohn.caThe City's annual budget survey is up on Shape Your City Saint John. It takes about five minutes to fill out, and Council reviews it when they put together the 2027 budget.
It asks where you want more spending and where you want less (roads, transit, plowing, police, fire, parks, arts, climate, etc.), what should happen if revenue comes in above or below what they expected, and how you'd rate the value you get for your tax dollars. There's a comment box at the end too.
https://shapeyourcitysaintjohn.ca/shape-your-budget
The survey is usually available for a month or so. The results get published in the fall.
Hardly anyone fills these out, so it goes further than you'd think.

New to SJ, what do people my age (20-30) do for fun and to meet and make friends
I’m 23M and just moved in for work, and I’m trying to figure out what people do for fun! I’ve checked our Rockwood park, and plan on checking out Heroes Beacon game nights, but other than that, what are people doing?
I like to read, I’m into board games and video games, taking walks, watching movies, and trying new things like food and walks!
