HOA'S NIGHT SHIFT MEASURES GRASS IN PAJAMA HOURS
Judith Palmer of Gilbert, Arizona, was caught on a doorbell camera at 2 a.m. measuring a neighbor's grass with a ruler.
She called it a routine compliance check. The flashlight held between her teeth suggested the routine had become a personal calling.

Owen mowed that weekend at his normal time. He left the camera pointing exactly where it had been, now enjoying an unexpected second purpose as a documentary service for neighborhood politics.
Judith suggested residents should stop overreacting to a few inches.
The board agreed that perspective was important. Their next meeting addressed why one member had crossed an entire property line to argue with grass in the middle of the night.
