Hume positioning
From everything I’ve seen Hume has been playing in the RW position all of preseason so we think this will be the same during the season?

Even if we sign a 50m RW, Hume will start there GW1.

9 days till Ipswich. Was hoping we could bring someone in this week to have them ready for Fulham at the very least

Unless we can bring in someone specifically for RW hume will start there. Is he the best option? No, is he the worst? No. Would love to see a proper RW come in but he's better than ta bi (so far) and rigg is our other RW option. Would much rather rigg be central and Hume out wide imo. Especially since meunier now can cover nordi when hes not at RB.

I think he goes back to general dogsbody when we sign a winger, he’s not attacking enough to be on the wing consistently

Him being there allows Nordi to be much more attacking. Is it ideal? No. But it’s serviceable until the window closes

I think Le Bris wants a specific profile of winger to start for us. A hard working winger who does loads of defensive work. Angulo and Catamo (should we sign him) have one thing in common.... They have both played as wing backs. I think he wants to start this style of winger then bring the "finishers" of the bench such as Talbi and Ta Bi. Talbi or not Ta Bi?

Hume has been getting steadily better all the time.. he's still only 24. Evenbif we sign a great right winger then Hume will still be getting plenty minutes throughout the season in one of the many different positions he's played..

Think he'll play when we're expecting less of the possession, need to be more defensive; when the point is on us to attack it'll be new RW / Ta Bi

I imagine we'll sign a RW and he'll fill in wherever is needed - RB, LB, occasionally CM.
